Xelaju, in the tournament for the first time since 1997, up 1-0 over Monterrey with an 83rd minute goal.

... stoppage time equalizer by Jesus Corona makes it 1-1.

vix originally had the Whitecaps logo on their site for this game. It still says Whitecaps on some of their pages.

Tough reversal on that PK call for VFC.

    Same error listed on TUDN.

Mainly travel and altitude. I highly doubt pumas has it in them to beat San Diego by 3+ goals. I will be genuinely shocked if they do. It will be a hell of performance by Keylor and co.

Yes, they did right as the second half started. Welcome to soccer in America from the 1990's. That Apple deal doesn't look so bad tonight.

Good effort by Forge, but that'll be a wrap on this game, and on my attention for this round of matches. All 3 of the Mexican teams left to play will cruise to the next round.

The San Diego game went how I expected, but SD survived and needed 8 saves despite complete domination at home. Makes me even more sure that pumas got their tactics all wrong on the road. Oh well, the goal is to advance and so they did.

If San Diego can overcome Toluca they should get a nice easy tie against Lag Al-Axy.

I don't see them getting past Toluca. Not in a home and away series.

The altitude, and the fact that we had something to lose made this one of the most nervous watches I have ever had. But we survived and advanced. The reality was for all of Puma's possession that didn't create that many clear cut chances. Actually SDFC had the best chances in the match in the breakaways by Pelligrinho and Dreyer.

Toluca will be a tougher ask but looking forward to seeing how we stack up against the best from Liga MX.

And Fox Sports can suck it seriously. Breaking away in the middle of a game? I get having to start a game on a different platform but really in the middle of the second half just saying and now we're off to college basketball really? To quote my HS football coach "Absolute Crappola"!!!

Fox doesn't seem to treat FS2 as a serious channel. Anything on there is something that is "dumped" and they treat it like disposable trash.

The real way to watch these games: Free VPN (actually its a proxy but I digress) to a country that doesn't have a TV deal with Concacaf - I used Belarus, and watch the games on the Concacaf Youtube channel. They are even available on demand there. Yes free VPNs will absolutely steal anything they can, but they can only access your current session, so make sure to turn it off when done with Youtube.

Sure but Toluca is sleepwalking with the most in depth team while Pumas is barely trying to find their footing. Toluca are the current champs while pumas ended in 10 at the end of the last tournament, so their is a big difference between the two.
