Gutsy performance in the second half. Looked more like last season's team. Hopefully something to build upon going forward.
Union really need to get better at finishing. Don't know what the xG was last night (or how much this stat really means) but for the Union's 3 MLS games they have an xG of 6.4 with only 2 goals to show for it. The xG of their opponents is only 5 and in each game the Union's xG was higher than the opponent. I know it takes longer for the offensive sides to get going but they have played 7 meaningful games now and the coach should have a preferred starting lineup. Not having a game every 3-4 days should ease the need for rotation for a while.
