A bit of a note here, Denver's next two home games will be at DSG Park, where the Rapids play, before moving to Centennial Park, their temporary home until the new stadium is built. Thus, the attendance numbers for the next to home matches will probably be higher than the rest of the home matches. I forget the difference, but I think DSG Park is 3k or 4k bigger.

Audible cheer when Cape Verde scored in extra time.

Those aren't bad crowds: what would you expect for Louisville hosting Chicago? Utah was 100 F tho 15% humidity; Denver did well as it got cooler as the raging sun set. Houston always meh. NC, small venue looks good at 75% capacity. Bay a little under expectation. DC was raining hard, tho enough there to wish the team played hard. And KC, the usual. Hey it's dog days.
In Denver, it was estimated 95F at start of game. Driving back from dinner, on the western slopes, it was 98F according to my car. Louisville also had rain projected, and a downpour late in the match. I'm sure you know about those summer downpours (I've lived in both Orlando and Memphis).
Thanks for the correction; I knew you guys had a similar weather to Salt Lake didn't know if it broke by game time. Just shows the dedication of your fans--great sign! As for Louisville, come-on, when have they had a good crowd, rain or shine?
Lots of discussion about where to get water and how to stay out of the sun until it drops behind the mountains. And discussion about next week's game starting at 2pm, and temperature likely about the same (near 100F). Sure, but I was thinking more how impressive the turnout was considering.
