Can't blame him. We're not a real destination for highly sought after players at the moment. We need more Thuram-type signings.
FML, Roma & Napoli pulling better players than us. how the mighty have fallen…Thanks to our weak pathetic management, all we are linked to are average players for way above $ what they should be. Then give away our players for peanuts. What an insult to sell Mbangula Weah for only 20M this shit never changes and why every summer is a rebuild summer, because we dont know WTF we’re doing, just flow with the wind and teams and players have noticed. Which is why they dont care to come to us and everyone negotiates better than us.
Who has Napoli signed? Kevin De Bruyne? A 34 year old with knees that are barely working? Natan? who's he? Has Roma signed anyone? The transfer market really hasn't even opened yet, I'll hold judgement until I see what they actually do. The only thing I'll agree with and is troubling is the clubs absolute lack of ability to sell players for any sort of good profit.
‼️ On Jonathan David: Juve are working on a proposal of €5m plus €2m in bonuses that would meet the player's demand of €7m net.An agreement should be found on the demands linked to the signing bonus and commissions (total €20m). @_Morik92_ pic.twitter.com/AgW1ZfVLhm— JuveFC (@juvefcdotcom) June 24, 2025
If true, good news. ❗️John Elkann is against the idea of selling any of Juventus’ big players this summer. Bremer, Thuram, Locatelli, Gatti, Cambiaso and Yildiz are all untouchable. (@CorSport) pic.twitter.com/AVevckqIPM— JuveFC (@juvefcdotcom) June 24, 2025
MOAR on this. https://www.juvefc.com/john-elkann-makes-several-juventus-players-unavailable-for-sale/
If nothing else this Club World Cup is an excellent place to do some up close scouting of rising players, especially. from South America: https://www.juvefc.com/juventus-south-american-target-admits-he-knows-they-want-to-sign-him/
TO WIT: 23 million for 2 players that started multiple games for us last season. One of the problems we face is that we treat each player like he is a depreciated asset and if we can sell him for more than his "books vale" we are happy. Very few successful selling teams think that way. This is one of the downsides to being publicly traded. https://football-italia.net/why-juventus-can-sell-weah-mbangula-only-23m/
yeah but if you actually watch them play you would know he went back because of Chelsea's wage structure not because of football ability.
MAYBE....you may be correct because the only Prem team I watch is Forest so can't comment on him at Chelsea.. They still shipped him back though, didn't they?
No point in signing an attacking player, we desperately need a proper defender. Bremer & Gatti are basically gonna be in and out injured all year so we need a main CB to help lead. It wont matter who we have up top if we are in shambles on defense.
Chelsea also payed United 2 million to take him back because they didn’t want to go through with the initial deal with united
So with Vlahovic refusing to leave that could scupper our plans for David. If Dusan won’t leave because he wants a free transfer next season we should make him train alone and leave him to rot. He has no respect for the club after we made him the highest paid player in serie A
Vlaho is basically gonna cripple us this season. With his recent bonuses and salary we have to either opt for David Or Kolo. We wont be able to sign both and keep Dusan. I knew he was gonna do this because no team is gonna pay that salary AND transfer fee for this bum. realistically we should just accept he will stay, get a deal for Kolo + Conceicao (lower fee) - go all out for selling Nico & Luiz for ANY amount and sign another Winger + Solid CB
