The best thing for this club is for Conte to NEVER return. In the past 8 years he's coached NINE teams. ******** that shit.

Matteo Tognozzi is close to returning to Juve, but rumors are that it's not as the head of scouting, but possibly replacing Giuntoli.

Gasperini is supposedly the frontrunner for coach.

Not a fan, we all saw what happened at Inter.

If it is Gasp, I will reserve judgement. He's done wonders at Atalanta, but they also have a good scouting network.

I am glad that it's not Conte or Tudor.

It took him years to implement his ideas at Atalanta, Juventus doesn't have the luxury to give him the time he needs to do that.

I don't think we can fairly judge Tudor given the circumstances. If we don't have an option that is clearly better, i.e., Conte (despite his flaws), why get rid of him? Get Tudor a decent squad and see what happens. I'm hearing Palladino which makes little sense to me. He failed here as a player and hasn't yet had a big club.

Gasperini has always been interesting to me. I can think of few managers that have done as much with so little. Plus, he was a Juve player and I believe he managed at the youth levels here.

The reason I'm not a fan of Tudor's is because he hasn't done anything impressive with his stint at Juve, nor has he really done anything impressive anywhere he's been the coach.

I don't know why Juve is focused on an Italian coach, sometimes it's better to get a different perspective, get someone from outside of Italy.

The point about Tudor not winning elsewhere is valid but we can't say that he's had a fair shake here. We can go through a number of foreign managers that other clubs have brought in that were failures, Fonseca and Conceicao, just in recent memory--not to mention that Tudor is foreign and hasn't yet convinced. Italian managers have had a pretty good track record of late.

Frankly I could care less about nationality. I think it's important to try and bring in a winner or at least someone familiar with the old Juve way. I could live with Gasp, but unless the name really impresses, why get rid of Tudor? He was forced to play scrubs like Kelly and Savona and managed to get us in CL. I could guarantee you that had they kept Motta, we would not have qualified.

Gasp is going to Roma so cross him off the list.

I'm not convinced by Tudor at all, I don't think he's much better than Motta was here. He got a few wins, but against the worst teams in the league. Nothing about his style of coaching convinced me that he's the man to take this team forward.

Conte coming back to Juve would have been terrible even if you guys would have probably won the league. It would highlight one of the flaws of the Italian game and philosophy in that we are culture that is incapable of looking forward. Everything is steeped in the comfort of the past. “Oh shit it didn’t work with Sarri and Pirlo? BRING BACK ALLEGRI.” “Oh shit Motta was a disaster, BRING BACK CONTE!” Etc

Elkann is now 0 for 2.

Where do we go now? How can Tudor stay after this fiasco. And it IS a fiasco, betrayed by one of our old Captains - TWICE now, and by Gasp who was groomed in the Juve youth system.

Elkann better pull a rabbit out of his hat or we will be on the one step forward, two steps back path of Mee-Lawn and ManU.

I don't disagree that his tenure wasn't impressive. That said, do you think we would have qualified for the Champions League if we kept Motta? I just don't. If you think the same, then you have to give Tudor some credit. The other things i did like is that he seems better liked than Motta and understands what Juve DNA is, having been very successful for years at this club.

So while I'm with you that it doesn't need to be Tudor, I'm not seeing the name out there presently that's an obvious upgrade. If you tell me we can get Zidane, all in. But who's that guy? I'm asking rhetorically.
