This is a decided weird Bruce Arena team. No midfield at all to speak of.

 

San Jose's defensive strategy on Vancouver's last goal seems a little elusive.

 

Usually someone at least tries to close the gap on a guy that wide open. Like, the rotation may have failed you totally and a guy pops up with acres of space, but then at least one defender busts their ass to try to get there.
