Oh boy, Week 12 of the 2025 MLS Season had goals galore! Plus quite a few good games. The Fire scored all three goals in their 2-1 win over Atlanta. The Loons took down the Pink Phony Club 4-1 at Allianz Field. Toronto blanked DC 2-0 north of the border. Cincy bested Austin at TQL 2-1. Montreal picked up their first win of the season as they went to New York and beat the Pigeons 1-0. Meanwhile across town the Red Bulls had another Red Wedding and heaped more misery on the Galaxy in a 7-0 thrashing. Orlando and New England played an exciting game that ended in a 3-3 stalemate. The Crew got a stoppage time equalizer off of a corner to earn a 2-2 draw with Philly. The Sounders went to Space City and messed with Texas, getting a 3-1 victory over the Dynamo. Nashville continued their strong run of form with a 2-1 home victory over Charlotte. San Diego went to St Louis and are going home with a 2-1 win. San Jose went to the Rocky Mountains and beat the Rapids 2-0. In Sunday Night Soccer the Whitecaps overcame an early 2-0 deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against LAFC.

This week has a full slate of midweek games, along with a full slate of weekend games, including a Sunday Night Soccer Double Header!!!!! Oh and it's rivalry week too for some of the league's' teams. Mid week sees Orlando entertaining Charlotte, in what could easily be a 0-0 stalemate or a goalfest. Can the Galaxy finally get their first win of the season??? Hell can they redeem themselves after their "showing" against the Red Bulls when they visit Philly? Nashville and the suddenly goal scoring Red Bulls will tussle in Music City. St Louis and Sporting KC will meet in their rivalry game in the gateway city. LAFC and Seattle meet at BMO in the best of the late games.

Saturday has a full slate of rivalry games. Montreal and Toronto get the day started at Stade Saputo. The Hudson River Derby is next. Followed by Hell is Real. Atlanta then takes on Philly in game between two teams (and fan bases. Well, at least for Atlanta fans) that just don't like one another. New England welcomes their Western Branch (San Jose) to Gillette Stadium. FC Dallas and Houston renew their rivalry as well. The first Rocky Mountain Cup match of the season takes place in Colorado. Sunday has TWO Sunday Night Soccer Games. The first sees Miami welcoming Orlando in the Florida Derby. The week's final game is El Traffico.

As usual all game times are eastern. National broadcasts & Free games are listed. All games can be viewed using MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

MLS N&A play by play threads are neutral spaces. Keep all rivalry-esque banter out of these parts. Bullying. personal attacks and/or trolling will not be tolerated.

The MLS is in mosey mode getting out the information for the midweek matches. They DO know the matches are tomorrow, right?

Here is the link to PRO's assignments for the midweek Matchday 13 games.

Very defensive lineup for the Galaxy with all three DPs injured. Only Fagundez and Reus normally play attacking roles. Reus is playing as a false nine. Mauricio Cuevas, usually an outside back, is starting at right wing.

Damn, on the MLS 360 broadcast, they were cooking DC United right out of the gate. Nasty work.

Great work by the Galaxy on the counterattack to pull the Philly keeper out wide... only to waste the chance by passing to no one.

This is Reus's first really good game since he arrived in MLS. Maybe it's still too early to say that playing him as a false 9 is the answer, but the role seems to suit him well tonight.

Can the Galaxy win their first game of the season tonight, or will the team suffer a blown tire?

Uhhhhh . . . wasn't Night of the Living Dead set in Pennsylvania?

Leaving the early matches at the half to watch CITY v. SKC. Despite eight straight winless matches, CITY is right in the thick of this one, and the match is still a tense nil-nil.

Of course, kickoff is still 15 minutes away, but hey, take what you can find for hope. ;)

It happened so fast that I missed both goals while watching the game.
