I don't know how to discuss players if it not how the staff says they plan to use said players. The only time i have seen Zawadzki play was as a CM vs LAFC in CCC a few months ago and the best think I can say was he was on the field.
It is worth noting that Zawadzki has a US cap -- in the 2024 January camp. I think he was probably a last minute Musah replacement.
Yeah Zawadsky was on the roster (not a replacement) but he didn't particularly stand out in that game either. Not saying that should mean the end of his NT career but it's true. To go from 2024 January camp nothing of note in the game to not making the 2025 January camp to making the 2025 Gold Cup roster... apparently he did something right while literally zero MLS watchers here were impressed by him! MLS Cup winning Columbus Crew have three players on the roster in Orlando, including goalkeeper Patrick Schulte and midfielders Aidan Morris and Sean Zawadzki.
Good guy to have around if the flies are bothering you. No, actually I never heard of him before now. To check his eligibility requirements, find out from Xbar if he ever heard of him cuz otherwise he's ineligible.

Cristian Roldan is playing extremely well. A #8 in a doble pivot is his sweet spot. He is 29 and I have been a very big critic but when I look at the names on the roster for the upcoming friendlies i have to ask are many of them better in the #8 role than Roldan?
LAFC v Mon: T Tillman is out with a leg injury. Jalen Neal gets the start on the Montreal side. CLT v CLB: Ream out with quad issues. Zawadzki is starting next to Nagbe at CM in a 4-4-2 double pivot. Arfsten at LB. Ageyman starting at striker for CLT. CLT v CLB it is!
Big Pat with two goals in five minutes against Columbus. He had a really strong goal midweek in Open Cup also. A hot striker can cover up some other stuff, wouldn’t mind seeing it.
Looks like CBus has switched to a 5-3-2ish with Zawadzki dropping into CB with a starter out injured. CTL is running over them so far.

And not just them! Dudes like Preston Judd got a brace. I mean, we're not likely to ever see his name on a USMNT call sheet, but still, good day for Americans.
I may owe Sullivan an apology. I kind of wrote him off after the U20 WC in '23, should have paid more attention to his Concacaf U20 championship and his production per minute. He is actually starting to look like something.
