I believe people from South America believe there is only one continent instead of North and South. Evidently depending where you live, some believe there are only five, six or seven as it's not the same everywhere as nothing really defines what a continent is.
People from the United States of Mexico say "Mexican". Remember that when the USA was formed it was the only country in the Americas. Haiti was formed 1804 (not recognized by the USA until 1862), South American countries started declaring independence around 1810, the Mexican Empire became a thing in 1821 and Canadians slept in. The colonists pretty much had the name to themselves for 35 years, during which time they had universally become known as American.
I can tell you from experience that if you tell a Mexican that you are ENGLISH they'll assume you are a white American (US).
For all of the complaining about MLS' weird playoff format, believe it or not there are weirder formats out there: World's weirdest soccer leagues: 8 champions? Points for losing? https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_...dest-soccer-leagues-8-champions-points-losing
I’d say MLS surpasses Argentina, though I’m not sure how many of these titles are official: Eastern Conference (regular season and playoffs), Western Conference (regular season and playoffs), Supporters Shield, MLS Cup, Open Cup, Leagues Cup, Campeones Cup, so that’s 9.
Sort of? Concacaf doesn’t have anything to do with their governance as far as I’m aware. They’re both organized by a committee of parties from MLS and Liga MX. They’re sanctioned by Concacaf but not put on by it.
