I'm going to the US game vs Haiti at Jerry world but haven't bought tickets yet. I've been watching on SeatGeek and the cheapest get in price has been stuck at $65 for several weeks now. Would we expect that price to drop a few days before the match? There appear to be a ton of tickets available.
I would wait to the day of, buy the cheapest seat to get you in and then go sit wherever you want. There won't be more than 15k for the game. Totally ridiculous for them to put the game there. Wouldn't have even sold out Frisco tbh.
AO resale has a few in that section for $60 each including all fees. You could definitely get them lower with a quick email exchange.
I'm bringing my 7-year-old to his first game so probably going to stear clear of AO this time around. Good thought, though.
Do you think it will be easy to move down in there? I went to Copa America last summer and it was more crowded than this one, so moving wasn't really an option.
The Bolivia game? I do think the Copa was a much bigger draw than the GC but I get your point. Shows 47,000 attendance for that game.. but man I just don't see this one anywhere close tbh. I still think you can move around pretty freely.
I cannot believe the prices have not budged in like 3 weeks. At least 1/3 of the lower bowl is for sale, and I'm being generous.
I'd wait until the day before the game or game day. People do not want to see this team right now. Especially against a Caribbean team.

Fun times at PayPal. NIce to catch up with traveling legends at the AO tailgate. Thank you Concacaf for overcharging for tickets to limit attendance. My party of three sat at the midfield line in a sparsely populated section.
I just noticed that the Minneapolis game is at US Bank and not in St Paul. Uggh why do they keep playing these games in NFL stadiums when there are perfect soccer stadiums with ideal capacity. QFs will be Glendale and US Bank. Only 1 will have Mexico. So why put both in NFL stadiums. Even Honduras and El Salvador, in Houston, barely filled the Houston FC stadium at 20k last night. Austin proved that US draws 10-20k max. Now they play at AT&T tonight. Why not Frisco. Uggh. We should at least get St Louis MLS stadium for the Semis though but still.
There is a chance USA gets first place while Mexico finishes second. Maybe they would want that game in Minnesota.
They could just put that in Glendale.. or just one of the NFLs. If its Mex/US then put it i. NfL and the other in smaller. ..and yes CR/Mex game determines our game. ......and let's be real clear how lame CONCACAF is for not setting the cities, matchups, dates before the tourney starts.
It would hurt the USA a bit more to play in Arizona in front of 90% Mexican fans. I am not sure the turnout would be as partisan in Minnesota. Of course it may still be majority Mexican support but not as lopsided. ,Maybe 60-70% Mexican?. Why punish the USA for winning the Group by sending them to Arizona?
Because $$$$. I think it’s safe to assume the Mexico QF will be in Phoenix, regardless of their opponent (including the US).
I could be misremembering, but we’ve seen Gold Cup quarterfinals fill NFL stadiums in the past. The US playing Cuba in front of 30k+ in 2015 in Baltimore comes to mind. And plenty of filled NFL stadiums in the past for Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, etc. I don’t know if it’s the ticket prices, too many tournaments, or an overshadowing from the CWC, but the attendance for all games seems to be down. And especially for the US, this past year or two has seen some of the smallest crowds I can remember, regardless of it being friendlies or competitive Concacaf matches,
Difficult to get excited for this team after recent results and regime change controversies. But the fans in Minnesota are pretty good and the USA really never plays in that Stadium so maybe things will pick up a bit there attendance wise. .
Yes, but there are far fewer Mexico fans in Minnesota and nearby than Phoenix. Given it’s a short notice schedule, Minnesota would be in danger of not selling out for US-Mexico.
I think it would be in danger but never underestimate Mexican-American fans traveling. Thousands from Chicago would drive there.
The MEX-CRC postgame on FOX confirmed that the US QF will be in the Minneapolis doubleheader on Sunday, June 29. It said 3 pm Eastern, but that might be the TV pregame show time rather than kickoff.
The two Minneapolis games are scheduled for 4pm and 7pm ET. The 7pm is on big Fox while 4pm is on FS1, so I’d assume USA-Costa Rica is the second game.
