Tackle looks even worse on replay.
Feet both leave the ground, and scissor action from behind.

    Surely a red

Yep red is given - though this late it won't make a difference

1-1 and can't complain, we did absolutely nothing that 2nd half

We stay 3 points ahead of Benfica but Porto can go 5 points clear at the top with a win

Feels like Trincao missed this game…. Didn’t even notice him :(

Trincao, Pote and Quenda are all staying home and not traveling to face Bayern...

Makes sense for the first two for sure.

It's the sort of match where we have nothing to lose and very little to prove. Trincao has played a lot of matches and looked gassed against Benfica, Pote has only just made it back.

Also Braganca back in training - been gone for sooooo long I almost forgot about him!

The fact that Quenda has a foot fracture and might be out 2 months and the fact that Geny will be in ACN for a month further illustrates how poorly planned the season was. Should've signed a left singer in June.

Looks like Braganca is training again, easy starter if he can pick up where he left off...

But yeah, left wing is desperately needed. Going a whole season with Fresneda as your starter seems like a mistake too imo, but I doubt anything will happen with that.

And then SCP fans will continue to downplay Porto's dominance despite the fact that they made significant investments in their squad and we didn't.

Imploding now - but at least it's more Dortmund last year rather than this....

Haven't been able to catch this one, but yea as long as it's not a blowout. Bayern at home always wins, they have a crazy record in the UCL

Having seen the highlights I think all their goals were illegal.

First one Kane is doing an nba style screen while shoving the defender to leave the back post empty.

Second is obvious foul. And third the offside player interferes with play by running in the direction of where the ball lands to the non offside player.

Oh well, not everyone can beat Bayern like benfica did at the club World Cup

What happens when you only have one player for every position.

We're one Trincao injury away from having a rather impotent attack

Ruben Semedo has always seemed like a major deadbeat, but at least he went and said hi to Paulinho.

    Paunlinho deserves it

    Penalty!

Nice and early just went to take him out, wasn't going anywhere but you can't just clobber someone.

    Suarez hopefully buries it

    I genuinely don't get that.

Yes he moved - but how is that simulation, he was ALWAYS going to hit that guy, if anything he moved reducing the chance of like knee to knee contact,

    Don't get it.....

We are lucky not to be down a man right now…. Is Mangas drunk making a tackle like that?
