He worked in the A-League.... and he kinda needs to rebuild his reputation after his past two stints in the EPL.

Seriously? How many goals did Tai score after June? How often does he create things on his own? He wants a DP deal. Philly just signed a kid who has huge potential and was wanted by Europa League Clubs. They also have Damiani and Iloski. Not to mention they have a few academy kids who are nearing more first team minutes in Eddy Davis and Sal Olivas. If DC United offers you $4M for a striker who don't feel is worth a $2M+ DP deal... you take the money and run.

I'd also like to know how many of his goals were assisted by Wagner too..... because DC United doesn't have anyone currently who's close to Wagner in crossing and set piece delivery.

Awesome, sell him in the summer window after CCC is over. He scored more goals last year than the two combined currently they paid the most for I believe. Didn't Tai comeback from international duty with an injury? They have a shot at getting to the CWC, I would like some veteran experience up top.

He won't have any value then as his contract expires next december. He can leave for free, and sign a pre contract after the WC in the Summer. The Union have enough firepower up top now. Even more so if they bring Uhre back.

As far as CCC goes.... if they manage to get buy Defense Force, they're not beating Club America over two legs. I'm as optimistic a Union fan as they come, but even I can recognize the limitations of this roster and game model when facing one of the richest, biggest and best clubs in our region.

So back to my original point, they don't take CCC seriously. Why bother as you can't compete, we're a minor league club for development. Oh well
    Baribo had 18 goals
    Wagner had 11 assists
Baribo came back injured and stuck in his country as the war broke out.

Huh? That war had been ongoing for 2 years.

They do take the CCC seriously. That's why they're selling baribo at his current highest value in order to reinvest in the team. It's why they went out and spent $4M+ on a 20yr old striker.

Philadelphia Union striker Tai Baribo was "stuck" in Israel in mid-June 2025 due to escalating Iran-Israel conflict and airport closures, preventing his return to the U.S. for team duties after international duty; he later left Israel safely, but his return to play for the Union was delayed due to injury rehab and his green card process, with his wife posting about sheltering from alarms and visiting injured children, before news broke of his safe exit from the country around June 23-24, 2025, though still facing missed games

Seems like a cheap price to pay for a serviceable pro in Morgan.

Josef Martinez to Xolos. I guess no one in MLS offered him a good deal. Still scored 14 goals this season. That's more goals than most DPs on the league.

Per sources, former #Sounders defender Jonathan Bell has signed a contract with #AustinFC

After testing the free agency market and talking to several teams, JB will play for Estevez next season. As I had mentioned before, I think Bell is a good addition to that Austin roster.

    Such a Red Bull move.

Hopefully they can find another jersey number in the 70s.

I actually like this move as Bradley won the MLS Next Pro Championship this year and has experience all over the globe. At 38 he's old enough to remember the MetroStars where he played for a short time until he moved to Europe.
