There's a chance but his contact goes until 2027 and if they push him out, the Saudi league have two teams that want him as well.
Egypt plays in Seattle twice during the World Cup. I don't see Seattle going for him, but he may get to see what the Sounders facilities are like and get a familiarity with the city, given Egypt would might base themselves in the area.
My gut says he'll end up in Saudi if he leaves EPL. MLS can't compete against their salaries. Plus with a year still left in his contract I think he'll cost $50M+ for his transfer. Something no MLS has ever paid before or will pay anytime soon. But man....I really wish there was a way he will come to MLS. I don't care to which team.
If he's really getting pushed out at Liverpool, why would anyone pay a huge transfer fee? They should just be happy to get him off the books early as the team has caused the rift.
How is it going to be different this time next year? There's still going to be a new season to prepare for in February, even if it's just a "Sprint Season."
Interesting note, Egypt has the least travel miles in the group stage of the WC, with their third game being up in Vancouver.
They still aren't sure how the contracts will work just yet since it will be a 14 game season. The CBA increases each year but isn't a full season. How much movement will there be since a lot of teams have a tendency to wait for the summer signing anyway?

I don't get this at all. You sign a 20 year old striker who is a record signing, hopefully get Uhre to sign but I would imagine he'll test free agency and you gear up for CONCACAF Champions Cup. I rather not see them sell Tai but it they do why not in the summer window after CCC?
Hope the answer is no and he stays. I understand their point as I've boycotted Chinese food since Covid.
