Don’t be surprised to see more players coming from France as the fallout from the DAZN contract ripples through the pyramid.
NYCFC/CFG with another bangin' signing! Thankful MLS has a salary cap or else this team would run rampant around everyone in MLS. We just couldn't keep up. How many players have successfully made the jump from the A-League straight to MLS? Feels like a very short list, if it exists at all.
??? I don’t get it. A team dresses 20 players per match. So a club needs to have at least that many players, even without international callups and injuries.
This would be two attempting it this offseason with Lucas Herrington coming over to the Rapids from the A-League.

Bogert doing some nice water-carrying for NYC there. Yeah, he scored 16 last season. This season, he has 4, none since October, and Schalke is a much better team this year. Not the trajectory you want from a new center forward.
Benteke hadn’t scored since November the year before he transferred to DCU. That worked out (for him). Speaking of, he just signed in the UAE. Biggest mistake DCU made was not shipping him and Klich off for any oil money they could have drummed up two summers ago. Thx, Jay!
