They've also won three trophies with Messi and have a new stadium opening this year. As an owner you try and build the legacy for the club. With a chance to be the second MLS team to win the CCC, that would set them up nicely with a return to the Club World Cup and grow the legacy for a team players want to come play for in MLS.

Before Inter Miami decided to pay off the $15M release clause for Berterame they put in a $13M bid for Bouanga and was declined by LAFC.

MLS would be a "real league" if a cashfer of that size ever went through.

I think we are close to seeing it. And it will make sense. Why pay $15M, for example, for a player that will need to adapt to the league when you can pay $15M for a player that is already killing it in MLS?

I will bet a million internet dollars that the “one source” is Sarge, his agent, or something damn close.

    Hell, make it 10 million

I have a feeling that Norwich's league position may have something to do with his family decision to move back to North America.

The roster rules changes are huge. MLS Mart isn't a sleepy small town mercantile store any more. This could be fun.

This cashfer limit lifted seems kinda big, could see more players moving now for smaller fees:
    • Elimination of limitations on the number of Cash for Player Trades a club can make each season.
    • Elimination of age restrictions and limitations on the number of Intraleague Loans a club can make each season.
    • Removed the deadline for a player to be considered a domestic player for a season instead of an international player.
    • Clubs may agree that an International Roster Slot traded within or prior to the Primary Transfer Window will return to the original club on a specific date within the Secondary Transfer Window. These agreements must be definitive.
    • Designated Players acquired via Cash for Player Trades in the Secondary Transfer Window may be added at the mid-season Designated Player Salary Budget Charge.
    • Players who have appeared on a gameday roster are eligible to be placed in Supplemental Slot 31 as long as they meet the other Slot 31 requirements.

This one in particular should facilitate loans. That's a good thing.
