๐จ๐ฒ๐ฝ Hirving Lozano doesnโt plan or want to leave San Diego in this window as heโs intentioned to stay at the club. pic.twitter.com/0I1LLkp7ov— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 14, 2026 We got a Mexican standoff in San Diego. Itโs not easy to dump a DP player on a cushy guaranteed contract if there is no interest in him and the owner doesnโt want to eat the cost via buyout. what is Gio Dos Santos up to these days?
We are hearing rumors that RSL is actually going to part ways with DP Diogo Gonรงalves. Guy *could* have made it happen in MLS, but he gets pushed off the ball too easily, half-heartedly defends most of the time if at all, and is not committed. The frustrating part is that if he fought and gave a shit, he could be a best XI, but just didnโt. Might have something to do with our club or him just not liking living here. Whatever. Apparently, he has removed all mention of RSL on his social medias. The team was explicit this offseason in pivoting to Diego Luna being the focus of our midfield and playmaking. If this goes through, weโve now dropped Brayan Vera to Montreal for GAM, Braian Ojeda to Orlando for GAM (still a bit shocked about this one), wriggled out of a DP loan for Brazilian Rwan Cruz (famous for a top 5 worst playoff performance where he tackled a player in the wall on a FK that Brayan Vera scored, so it was called back) and then dropped our only official DP left. We have only signed prospects to ยฟmaybe? replace any of them, or just leaning on the guys we didnโt give much time to already on the roster. Dropping Diogo, which our team felt obligated to start most every game last year, may be addition in subtraction. Yet the others seem to only make us a bit worse than the borderline playoff team we were in 2025. We eagerly await any news that may give us hope for the upcoming year.

Not bad at all! Should've never left MLS in the first place. Glad they are trying to bring players like this back. Now do Almada to ATL.
Cremaschi is roting away in Italy. If Miami doesn't want him someone else in MLS should pick him up. TFC and SKC need midfielders.

Just about every team in MLS could use him. Heck, with Busquets retired maybe Miami needs him. DC has a roster almost empty of quality. Have the Crew replaced Nagbe? The Gals have a Puig sized hole on their roster. I could go on for a while here.
I think several MLS teams should be taking advantage that Miami is just buying players to replace the ones they have now. Players like Cremaschi, Toto Aviles, Lujan and Segovia are players that Miami might be trying to move away from and an easy chance for anyone to take advantage and offer cheap money for them. Also.... ๐จ๐คฏ BREAKING: GERMAN BERTERAME WILL LEAVE MONTERREY TO JOIN INTER MIAMI! It's called "earning your place". You don't just walk from a MLS bench into a Serie A team. He's on loan until June. Miami can recall him any time.
Bogert has confirmed this today but also notes Portland and Cincy both had activated his buyout clause last year only for the player to change his mind. Boy, I wonder what's different this time.
The appeal of playing with Messi is whatโs different. Most kids grow up dreaming of playing with their heroes, and now he has the chance to do that.
