Why is GWU a bad job ? (genuinely curious)

 

I think the GW job challenging because small school that's expensive, low scholarships and they force you to have a varsity and JV team, so like 40 players on roster. A lot to manage for small staff, a lot of moving pieces.

He's still listed in their soccer pages, but the Staff Directory lists the coach as TBA, so I guess you're right.

Here's a crazy thought. Arkansas Pine Bluff the past 3 and 1/2 years has been without a head coach more than it has had a coach employed. Going on 4 coaches soon in 3 1/2 years. After Erik Solberg left, no coach hired for 7 months until they promoted grad assistant in late July to save money. They Kept her for 12 months, she resigns to go NAIA. Hire next guy in August of this past fall a week after practices started, he quit in December for a D2 job. It's now been roughly 6 months (December he quietly left) no coaches on staff, and roster sizes of around 13-15 players since no head coaches stay long enough to recruit. No D1 wins in 2 years and counting. When will their fourth head coach in a bit over 3 coaches be appointed? I'm guessing late July again so just enough time to step into the mess with no time to bring in new players or even schedule games for that matter. Just observing the cycle that their administration needed to break if they are going to keep soccer there, or will they go the same route as MVSU and cut the program since they don't seem to care that much about hiring and retaining a coach.

I hear that in the NCAA women's soccer there will probably be an opening next season. Also, There will be probably about 50 openings after next season as well. Lets see if I am correct.
