Anyone hearing anything out of Missouri State and him leaving? Successful program coach has done well not sure what job open he would go for?

 

Didn’t the assistant leave? But I did see a TikTok from a Missouri state player saying they still have to run fitness even tho there coach just left. Who knows??

 

Just saw Missouri State’s assistant left for Xavier. Could Kirk be headed to Coastal?

 

this is legit because i know the coaches personally and have spoken to players on the team

 

Nelson just signed a contract extension last year that keeps him at Missouri State until 2027. He's done well there. His kids go to school there too so that's a good anchor if he wants to stay. Challenge now though is they were quite successful in the MVC, but now have moved up to Conference USA where they went just 2-3-3 in their first year. One of the names to keep an eye on as far as mid major coach potentially moving up. I don't see what job would be an appeal though. Coastal Carolina may be the best one open for now and don't really see that as a step up.

Heard a rumor Tarleton just parted ways with head coach. Might have been mutual.

 

That seems weird when they have the following on Coach Cuadrado's bio

"Cuadrado enters his sixth year at Tarleton State and fifth season of competition in 2026."

Also, who has a 91 page media when your first season of competition was 2022?

 

I think the rumor is Tarleton coach took Coastal.

 

A coach with 1 win in the WAC last season is getting the CCU job?? Does that seem odd? No good D2 coaches in the Carolina's in for that job? or from the Big South or Atlantic Sun?
