At 14 scholarships , I’m sure they will find it difficult to pull a top head coach , especially when assuming that other programs in the conference are probably in the 20s . You need scholarships to be competitive.
Agreed, if they aren't upping scholarships and investing revenue share and NIL dollars into the program they are going to get left behind. There are some high mid-major jobs that are better than some P4 jobs because of the willingness to invest in the programs.

Interim is likely to get that job. If she wants it. Did decently leading that team all season and almost made the conference tournament on the last day of the season. They had a fair bit of international players from Scandanavia on the roster. I'd imagine they could hire someone more locally based and keep some RGV and STX kids at home and do well in that conference also.
I think most could agree that the Le Moyne hire was a pretty solid one. Not saying that Taylor's going to have success on a grand scale but qualifying for the NEC tournament would be pretty monumental at this point. Taylor Van Fleet Named Head Women's Soccer Coach
well so much for those feeling sorry for Mark. The announcement made it sound like hes leaving because of health reasons. Next day its announced hes joining the Mississippi State staff. Glad to see Mark is doing better health wise! just weird announcement
No, stop this. It's frickin' January 10th and the first games of the 2026 season aren't for another 7+ months.
I think Montana is between Boise State assistant and the former Denver assistant. He's a So Cal guy so possible going to be the assistant at UCLA.
Question: with the biggest upset in fa cup history today. Made me wonder, what was the biggest upset this past season based on rpi?
Having met Dedini as a Riverhound, and then seeing him take over for my university, Sac State, I'm sorry his tenure ends like this. I hope his next chapter is good. I am eager to see who fills his seat.
mizzou quietly extended their coach last spring through December 2028. Buyouts are very university favorable starting next year, though. I will say that I know factually that Mizzou is not funded well compared to their SEC counterparts. I have heard 14 and no rev share or NIL.
I think Mizzou gets it. They don't care about women's soccer, they've never been good. They have a female head coach (hard to get in Columbia, Missouri) Golan has family in the area, so she's not going anywhere.
wife’s family is close by, he has good options hospital wise. Rumor was that UTRGV was not willing to let him stay on leave for another month while he got treatment in Houston and eased his way back on.
5 years at Missouri and she is 26-47-22 overall with her conference record being 10-33-7 why are some coaches getting let go after 3-4 years and she gets an extension? If Missouri doesn’t care about their soccer, why did they let the previous coach go?

Smoke entrance like Miami Hurricanes football? That'd be cool. Pelicans in Louisiana can resemble Sebastian the Ibis too
