DC and Dallas drew 1-1 last night. No attendance listed yet.

Carolina is up 1-0 late against Tampa Bay with 2,156 in attendance.

I had no idea Shea Groom was playing for Carolina now.

USL Super League attendance is being tracked at Backheeled. The table is near the top of the page but you'll have to click the "+ Show 805 more" link and scroll to the bottom to see the individual game attendance numbers.

Week 23 matches are underway as DC is hosting Carolina in a home match as a "field trip day" game for local schools. Lots of kids voices but it looks like they're all on the camera side as the opposite side is pretty sparse.

DC drops the home game 0-1 to Carolina in front of 1,050 screaming kids. Tyler Lussi with the game winner.

That's 3 straight wins for Carolina and 10 of their 29 points this year are against DC.

Wednesday had Tampa Bay lose 0-3 at home against Brooklyn. 2,896 attendance which is a big plus for them and close to being in line with last season.

Also had Dallas and Lexington tie 2-2 with a crowd of 3,651. That's about 1,100 more than this years average for Dallas and above last years average.

Dallas drops a 0-4 decision against Jacksonville. 3,741 for Dallas which gives them two good crowds this week.

Tuesday night Dallas dropped a 1-2 game to Tampa Bay with 2,321 in attendance.

Wednesday night DC dropped a 0-2 game to Lexington with 1,129 in attendance. DC has been anywhere between 251 and 4,842 this season.

Those are the teams that entered the week in 4th and 5th place respectively, going out of their way to keep the door open for everyone below them to sneak into the playoffs.

Ft. Lauderdale 1-4 Jacksonville (att. 1,641)
    Carolina 1-0 Lexington (att. 5,189)
Tampa Bay 0-2 DC (att. 1,731)

    1 game today.

No idea where that Carolina attendance came from. That's the kind of number they pulled last year. Maybe on field play has helped, they started with 3 losses after the winter break but have 6 wins and 1 draw since then, and are all but assured of a playoff spot now and could snag the #2 seed.

Jacksonville clinched a playoff spot with that win.
