lol I want to say it was Scott Goodyear that jumped the gun... Jacque actually came back from 2 laps down to win ... And I do believe he won the Indy DC in '95 before jumping to F1
Yeah, Goodyear. I knew Tracy didnt sound right. Tracy doesnt even look right. Should it have an 'E' in it? Tracey? That doesnt look right, either. Tracy will have to do. I could google it. But it doesnt matter and I've got things to do. If it was Villeneuve I'd google it. That matters. But of course, I dont have to. Even small children know how to spell Villeneuve.
really good news about not starting next year at -15. i mean, what's the point in buying the club at that point? yesterday was the first actual, all-around, good day for wednesdayites in what... 2 years? time to start the rebuild.
There was rather a lot of celebrating when Chansiri put the club into administration, as that meant he was out. It was also the result of a huge boycott that was designed for just that purpose, so loads were pleased. But the downside of going into administration is obvious, so I wouldn't call it an all-around good day. And last season wasn't really awful until toward the end, when it became clear that Chansiri no longer had the funds to run the club. The season actually started off pretty well, as Danny Rohl had, after keeping them up the preceding year, got them going pretty well and was earning a name for himself. Wednesday actually finished in the top half last year (barely, 12th). So it probably hasn't been quite that long. But yeah, everything since last season's end has been truly awful. Huge, massive celebrations yesterday. Deserved.
Joanne Youngson MSc As David Bruce moves on from Sunderland to take up his new role as CEO at Sheffield Wednesday it feels important to reflect on the impact he’s had. He should be immensely proud of what he achieved during his time at the club. He played a key role in reconnecting Sunderland AFC with its supporters, helping to restore many of the traditions and matchday elements that truly matter—things that give the club its identity and meaning. Not many people get the chance to make such a meaningful difference at their boyhood club, and even fewer leave behind a legacy that will be remembered for years to come. Wishing David every success in his new role.
it's funny...when I asked Don Garber about Welcome to Wrexham he had nothing but nasty things to say about it and also NetFlix...then I realized that MLS had their TV contract with AppleTV...only then did it all make sense.
