Sugawara close to join Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. It's a loan, cause Bremen said he is way to expensive for them in the first place.

    Very nice move for him.

Matsuki came on at half time with Saints being 3-0 down away to Leicester. They managed to win 4-3!

Should potentially be considered for the upcoming JNT friendlies imo. League 2 is not very far behind The Portugese League and Eredivisie (outside of the top clubs).

His greatest strength imo is his acceleration and ball-rentention abilities.

Kodai Sano is more of a creator whereas he is more of a work-rate machine, he can potentially replace Ao Tanaka if his playing time situation don't improve.
Wataru Endo's playing time is quite worrying too.

Only Ayumu Seko is starting regularly at a top league for the DM position, Morita is playing lesser this season too.

League 2 ist not anywhere near the level of portugese league or Eredevise, cause those ones are closer to the top 5 leagues. Those are not that far behind anymore. It's not even a close match.

It's not for nothing that Portugal is place 6 and Netherlands are place 7 at the moment. Kaishu Sano plays almost every minute, Morita starts way enough and plays way enough to be a starter. And like you mentioned Seko is also there + don't forget Fujita who plays a similar good season like Kaishu Sanso last year, he is exceptional good. Kamada is also there and also played a great season. Don't know what we have to worry about for the moment + it's still time that also Endo and Tanaka can become more game time. Nothing it decided yet.

A second league player should never be considered for the JNT, it would be a smash into the face for the bunch of great first league player we have. Please not Matsuki.

    - Kodai Sano
    - Kaishu Sano
    - Fujita
    - Morita
    - Seko
    - Kamada

Things of course could change to the bad till WC and you never now of it works out at the end on the pitch but for know it looks very very good even with Tanaka and Endo are worrying.

True, Matsuki hasn't played anywhere near enough to warrant a call up. I like his talent and character a lot but he will have to step up his form to get noticed

I like him also a lot and I think he can become a top player when things are working out for him at the right club and the right attitude but for now please not. Please no more second league players anymore for the JNT. We didn't have for around 30-40 players in the top 5-7 leagues/Champions League/Europa League for nothing.

League 2 is also the fourth best league in England. Championship is the second best and where Matsuki is.

Apologies i meant Championship, Championship is not really far behind Portugese League and Dutch League (outside of the top 3) but true perhaps nor cloae enough for Matsuki to warrant a spot in the final squad list.
