The Championship teams didn’t exactly destroy Next Pro opposition.

Nobody got destroyed. There were a couple of 2 goal wins, but nothing more. New Mexico played a bunch of their bench/youth guys against Lubbock, with a just a couple of regulars. I'm sure most of the others did the same.

I was wrong. The round of 32 groups will continue through the Round of 16. So we may see some long trips in both rounds.

Actually you can go back to 117:45.

NYC player gets barged by Beckford - no YC
NYC player gets hacked by Asiedu - YC
Williams kicks out at Rozhansky who stops and looks at the ref but play goes on.
Rozhansky loses the ball, grabs Epps and chaos ensues.

Loudoun & Phoenix could've easily been swapped; would've forced Seattle to travel but that's fine for an MLS team. Not sure how to fix NYCII.

NYCFCII gets to host the worst team in the USL Championship this year. Colorado Springs is 0-5 and has been outscored 9-1.

Every group had to have one MLS team, one newly entering USL-C team, and two winners from the previous round, so Loudoun and Phoenix were in different categories.

I hope for the TSS Rovers players' sake there isn't extra time and penalties. The last ferry to the mainland leaves at 9 p.m.
