In what world are any of the nextgen that have left superior to what was brought in?

Announcing to world something that was obvious already. Do you think the plans for those players were a secret? Not to mention you can't keep things like that under wraps these days anyway.

It doesn't. So they might as well get the most of the money they paid for him put it to good use by playing him instead of being a big baby and freezing him out. What a lesson they will teach him, LOL Now the clubs defenders will just say that he isn't part of the footballing project which is laughable. He's only not a part of the project because of what he want to be paid. The way they frame it is flimsy at best.

Yeah, so about Playstation. Seems like we are all in agreement (i have not used this term, others have. Just doing so now). Since I haven't watched a French League Uber Eats match in my life, what metrics exactly are these new guys superior to Chiesa? Goals, Tackling, Assists, Aerial wins, disposesion? Still not Playstation... if Vlahovic is supposed to be the centre of Attack (highest paid, lauded by all), seeing as how Chiesa and he are good friends (Chiesa has referred to Vlaho as his best friend in football just recently), wouldn't it make sense to keep our CF happy about life?

Yea, the money Chiesa is asking for is the only reason he isn't part of the project, LOL.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

One other thing. Teams all know when players of other teams are out of contract. They know they have the power. Lots of teams like to bluster about their players so they can squeeze every penny they can out of a transfer deal.

At the end of the day, it’s the players. McKennie is refusing all offers and wants €4 million, which is really €8 million gross. Chiesa hasn’t warranted a pay raise, which is what he’s seeking.

There are mutiple reports that Chiesa’s agent was in England shopping him around and he got no bites. I like Chiesa and think he can be useful, but he’s not worth what he wants.

Yeah, it is. It's the only reason. Because if he signed on the clubs first offer, which would have been pre-Motta, Motta wouldn't have come in and wanted him out.

Let's hope you are correct and Motta does well this season. I just don't see it.

If you guys have seen all these new players they have brought in play before and can vouch for them, great.

In regards to which new signing is better than Chiesa, which new signing was signed to replace him?

As for the next gen, our new signings are all better than them.

You tell me. You follow Juve more closly than I do. Which Winger/ support striker (which is *NOT* his role but pigeon-holed there by Allegri) is better/ will be better?

    RE: No Bites

Football London reports some 4 Hours ago that Chelsea's board has Approved funds of 15M to get him.

Juve hasn’t signed anyone to replace Chiesa. A bunch of names were bandied about. None of them really impressed me as a replacement for him.

Chelsea, a club in disarray, but if they’re willing to pay then I’m sure Giuntoli will accept. Will be interesting to see how he fits in with Maresca’s tactics.

Comment on Juve fan site (translated to English)

"The Djaló situation cannot be explained in words: you can get him for free in June, you spend real money that you don't have to advance in January, despite him having been out of action for a year. He passes it off as a reinforcement from Motta, who rejects him after 45 delirious minutes against a German B team. Disaster"

Final nail? And clues who will return?

    https://football-italia.net/chiesa-mckennie-szczesny-scrubbed-juventus/

    SNIP:

"....When fans buy a shirt, they have the option of getting it personalised with the name and number of their favourite player.

Online, this has a drop-down menu, but it now no longer has the opportunity to choose Szczesny, Daniele Rugani, Chiesa, Milik, McKennie or Mattia De Sciglio.

However, and this is another big clue as to the ideas for the future, they can still choose Tiago Djalò, Facundo Gonzalez and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia.

This is because they are expected to go out on loan, whereas the door is firmly slammed shut for any future at Juventus for the others....."

Still don't have a winger of quality but let's go out and spend money on Nico Gonzalez (who isn't bad at all) rather than renegotiate with Chiesa. Makes perfect sense.
