Note: this likely means Sugawara is leaving.

Wow nice transfer, to a nice club. Is he good? Rarely see him play till now. Can he become a regular JNT player?

  3. I'm pretty curious about this signing.
He's not of an age AZ normally signs players. With his age I guess he's a signing fo an immediate impact, not for development.

Yeah think so too. Would be nice if he can make an instant impact and become a starter.

  5. He has big shoes to fill as Yuki was a fans favourite.
    You don't get there easily.

Nice result in friendly against EL winner Atalanta, 2-2 draw.
Was a match between the brothers Koopmeiners too.
Big brother Teun can't win with Europa League winner Atalanta against Peer and old club AZ
AZ has been able to hold Europa League winner Atalanta to 2-2 in a friendly match.
For a long time, the Alkmaar team seemed to be heading for the first defeat of the practice period,
but substitute Lequincio Zeefuik equalized in the final phase.

Alkmaar is a really good club with normaly many european games per season. Maikuma gets much praise for his performance so far, I read.

Think its a good move and the fact that he is in the JNT rooster could only be a good sign, that he also plays for AZ.

Best man on the pitch in a 1-0 victory today after who scored.

Probably the one of JPA that started the season best, with many of the bigger ones not.

Maikuma is playing a awesome season. Very very strong, especially in the Europa League. He needs to be involved in the JNT, maybe as a starter also. Problem is that this position doesnt exists at the moment, as Moriyasu prefer Mitoma/Kubo/Ito/Nakamura/Maeda as a mix out of defense/offense players on the right/left side.

But with Maikuma and Sugawara we have 2 good LB/RBs.
