Without Russ and Rodrigo this club is just flat. Amann and Phillips play essentially the same position and getting Russ back to play off of one of those two would be a big help. Parano and Portillo just aren't making up for Rodrigo's vision. We can't keep depending on Vitiello to save our bacon week in and week out.

Seattle is going to win handily if they put forth the effort. If they throw reserves out there we'll still have a chance.

It's too bad we couldn't take down Seattle but, from the accounts that I read, we put up a good fight. At least we got two good home crowds against MLS sides and beat SJ in exciting fashion. I consider the 2024 Open Cup a success.

Looking forward to turning things around in USLC play starting this week against NCFC. Can Portillo and Parano get the offense going again?

Charleston and two against New Mexico coming up. They better be ready. At least San Antonio and Phoenix are on the schedule, too, but we better win those. There's little room at the top for a late season slide.

    Less than optimal by Cicerone.

Well that was pretty awful. You can’t keep just handing the opponents the ball.
