Hypothetical I was turning over this morning after watching us gain on the East leaders last night. Let's assume we are the #2 seed in the East and drew Miami at home in the East semis. Would the club ticket that at the standard playoff rate or would "Miami" pricing be instituted for that matchup as well?
My guess? STMs get regular rates. The general public would pay Miami pricing and throw a hissy fit. Speaking of which, did I miss communiqué regarding Nordecke.com tickets for the regular-season Miami game?
Nordecke did not buy them because the FO wouldn't offer any discount on them from the public prices on Ticketmaster. That was the bigger issue that flew under the radar when the vocal minority attacked the Nordecke Board for accepting a dramatically reduced inventory. The new suits in the FO forced Nordecke to buy all inventory at dynamic prices rather than a single rate across the board like in prior years, so every game was a different price. The only difference between public sale and what Nordecke was offered was the Ticketmaster fees, and since the Nordecke has to do a small markup to make money on resale, it was still going to be close to $400 per ticket for Miami. Way too much to front and way too much risk of loss in the likely event that people don't buy at those prices. Nordecke Ticket Exchange group on Facebook always has some available, so that's where people should go if they don't want to buy from TM. Another fun fact: after all the belly-aching by those two groups about how the Board allowed fans to be disenfranchised with a smaller ticket allotment, there have still been several games this season that didn't sell out even with prices in the normal range of $30-35.
It was announced a few moments ago at LDC, but 2024 Campeones Cup has an official date. #Crew96 will face Club America on Sep. 25 in Columbus— Brianna Mac Kay (@brimackay15) July 27, 2024
Please tell me that you are not replacing her wedding ring with this! My wife calls my 2020 replica ring my "pimp ring", and she is very embarrassed to be with me when I am wearing it.
There's a bit of a story to this. Last season, last regular season game, we got to go into the Field Lounge on the west side, after the game. I was wearing my 2020 ring. Bez happens to come by, and I pointed at the ring and said "I want another one". He said "we're working on that". Mrs KG noted that the next one was going to be hers. So..... Of course my ring fits best on my middle finger, which Mrs KG thinks is a good idea--as a reminder to Pre**rt. She gets it.
The second meet-the-team event will be Wednesday, October 16 at Lower.com Field. It'll be from 5-8 with player availability from 6-8. Just so there's no confusion, it's the one that was rescheduled from the art museum. Tickets are required, but I'm going to guess that not everyone with a ticket can go, so there *may* be a very small chance of people having an extra.
