I was skeptical about being able to see Spirit games on TV this year - but this schedule gives me hope. I have also been told the "NWSL+" games are free to stream from the league direct-2-consumer - I anxiously await details. Luckily I have Prime because other reasons not related to their streaming (which I have only watched 1 time, but will increase that to 5 based on this schedule), and ESPN, ESPN2, CBSSN, and ION are already on my DirecTVStream channel list.
IDK if the Summer Cup game locations were announced earlier and I just missed it, or if the ticket announcement today is the first news on locations, but the Spirit's two "home" games will be in Philly and Richmond. And their one "away" game against Gotham is also going to be in Philly. No other NWSL teams are visiting non-NWSL cities for any Summer Cup games.
Maybe? Considering Richmond is in the mix here too, I'm guessing it's just Kang trying to spread influence and make the Spirit a regional team. Philly's had an NWSL game or two before as well - I know for sure that Gotham had Lloyd's send-off game there. Philly also has Heather Mitts trying to start a USLSL team there.
The other sites were all listed, but in the previous announcement, DC's games were location TBD. edit: In fact, the NWSL site still has them TBD. https://www.nwslsoccer.com/nwsl-x-liga-mx-femenil-summer-cup
