A quick reminder that the NWSL secondary transfer and trade window will be in August this year (later than last year), AFTER the summer cup group round, ending before the CONCACAF W Champions Cup second group matchday. I'm not sure what roster freeze restrictions there might be regarding the CWCC.

There’s rumor that Lyon’s Delphine Cascarino will be moving to San Diego. This would definitely would be a big catch for them. She was the MVP of the 2016 u20 MVP. Went through a couple of injuries after that, so might of not lived up to expectations, but nevertheless a phenom dribbler, a very fun to watch & an available asset to any club

Nérilia Mondesir played forward at Montpellier, they were solidly midtable last season.

You cannot be serous that Jessica Silva is one of the fastest players in the world??????? She is quick, but nowhere close to one of the faster forwards.

I wrote "arguably" cuz so far there's ever been in an official sprinting contest to really determine that. Maybe your thinking of an different Jessica?, Mine would be this one

Orlando has bought Carson Pickett back from Louisville! She last played with the Pride in 2020, and had a stint with NC in the interim.

Weird, I think Pickett was one of Louisville's best players so far this season.

I know who she is. She is not even close to being THAT fast. She is quick though.

I always liked Jessica Silva, but I tend to see her more as a fantastic technical-gifted player, than as an actually fast one.

For years Portugal's actual greyhound was Ana Borges instead (now too old, but at the beginning of the '10s she was really fast).

but as an winger, outside Portugal, she’s never been an proficient goal scorer, recording zero goals at her previous stays at Lyon & KC(though it could of been due to lack of playing time)

Lynn Williams, Rodman, Smith, Swanson, Banda, Kundanaji, Kerolin, Paralluelo, both Chawinga sisters, Caroline Graham Hansen to name a few. I am obviously missing several internationals but this is a sampling.

Following up on this: Louisville has been going gangbusters on the trade market recently! First Pickett, then sending their captain(!) Howell to Seattle in exchange for Balcer, then they signed Colombian Angela Baron, and today they picked up Beckie from Portland in exchange for Turner. Wonder what they're cooking...

Alex Morgan had announced her second pregnancy, and also her professional retirement after this weekend's game.

    =Edit=
Just watched the full announcement reel on FB. Sounds like she was planning on retiring at the end of the season anyway, and the pregnancy just bumped that up.
