MLS announces Real Salt Lake star & Golden Boot leader Chicho Arango is SUSPENDED for the next four matches due to "violating the MLS Anti-Harassment Policy".No further details given on violation.Suspension includes MLS All Star Game. Well, missing the ASG is considered a punishment because normally participants get a nice check in addition to a bonus built in to their contract. So while it doesn't matter a bit to us in terms of the ss race, it costs him some money, which is likely why they included it.
Looks like a normal sprained ankle. Hurts like hell and swells like crazy. Sprained ankles typically look worse than broken ankles in terms of swelling.

They need all the help they can get and gimmicks to draw a crowd. It’s definitely a shocker that they are this bad.
I think the standard punishment for violations of this rule is three games. So the All-Star Game falling in the calendar where it does relative to when the violation occurred is just crappy timing on his part. There's no way a guy who's on suspension for racism or homophobia is going to be allowed to participate.
MLS and adidas are releasing throwback jerseys for five teams. Miami, KC, both LA teams and Portland. Yeah, well screw you too.
I'm making it up. But it's anti-harassment, so it's not an unreasonable guess. Previously, a handful of MLS guys have been suspended for three games for homophobic slurs.
How can teams like Miami or LAFC have throwbacks? They haven't been around long enough. And how did SKC sneak in there? I'm surprised it wasn't NYRB/MetroStars instead.
At least with KC you have the pre-rebrand angle. Miami??? The Fusion would make some sense, assuming they can use the name, since the teams have nothing to do with one another. LAFC is just plain bullshit.
Well, you might be onto something. I'm having a hard time finding where such policy is posted, if indeed it is. I was going by the tweet, so I figured it was a misclassification on the part of its author and it was referring to the anti-discrimination policy.
If they do more of these, and Philly is on the list, they'll get a Bethlehem Steel kit, because of the partnership. I've been trying to get my Applebee's waitress to tell me if there is another round of these coming in 2025, but she's been playing coy with me on the topic.
The only reason I think it might be different is that the discipline was for a violation of the anti harassment policy which I can't find, but there is a new anti discrimination policy that is well published.
