Commentators (Dunny, I think) said they checked and were told it had to go full ninety.

Orlando (and I can’t stress enough, Oscar Pareja) is great in the regular season, but is absolute dog shit in big games. Orlando always gets hyped up, and always disappoints.

As far as fixture congestion goes, I’m not that guy, that’s Trujdub. It’s freaking week two, get your dudes ready if they are in CCC. Sorry, no excuse for an ass whopping like this. RSL is worse, LA might be better, might not. Orlando should lose, I agree, but they should be making it tough.

    Pareja sucks.

That’s weird, I though FIFA rules said it could be stopped legally after 60, like how a MLB game can be called after 6 or 7 innings.

No, this is epic. The best is when the ball goes into the channels and it's 5" of fresh powder.

@Kyle Crew, what’s your take on Miles Robinson?
Do you think he’s fully back from his achilles tear?
Is he better suited for FC Stabby Lions than Atl Utd?
How will he factor into our back line in the Nations League Finals and Gold Cup (behind Richards but ahead of Zimmerman and certainly ahead of Old Man Ream?)?

@TKyle I’m actually watching the Chicago v Cincy match during intermissions of the CBJ game.
My opinion on Robinson hasn’t really changed. He’s best with a D partner who sits back and covers, allowing him to be aggressive. Robinson is better on the front foot, whether it’s challenging headers, going for interceptions, or disrupting attackers as soon as they receive the ball. He can play that way because he has really good pace. Maybe he’s lost a tiny bit of pace after his injury, but it’s still good. Offensively, he’s okay, nothing more.

If we’re using the Batman and Robin analogy, Robinson is a very good Robin, not a Batman.

I think his potential is Europa league level Bundesliga team, if he wants to be a regular starter. PSV really wanted him, but I think Robinson wanted more (sigh, probably EPL).

He’s better for Cincy than Atlanta. Cincy fits his strengths better and Noonan is a far superior coach to Pineda.

For the US, I think he can definitely start. Him and Richards might be too similar, but I wouldn’t hate it. Two very athletic CBs.

    Semi-honest question:
How the heck is Frank Klopas still the coach for Ch*tcago?
(It does seem like a grave error has been rectified with the Fyy-ure going back to red jerseys with the white band.)

Ownership has failed to hire good people around them. Imagine the Haslams without Bez around…

I think both are contenders in the East , the East is very difficult.

Orlando rotated and rested guys vrs Cavalry so really it’s just a tough road gm vrs Miami. Miami is a team you want to get a lead on and a team you want to make them defend. Orlando did neither they got out played and it snowballed on them quickly. I think Orlando is a really good team but this result makes me think that Tigres will advance in CCL. So we beat Houston then we should expect that match up.

Congestion is real but depends on how you rotate the squad. Orlando rested guys so congestion has nothing to do with the ass whipping they took today. So we are in total agreement

    And not very much 172k

Miami clearing cap space but this is a great pick up for FCC

Yes but not that much: $172,000.

Aside from that seeming like an odd number, it's also pitifully small for what's supposed to be a big time player.

By comparison, the Crew forked over $500,000 last year for Amundson, a better passer to be sure without a ton of upfield overlapping speed that Yedlin supposedly brings.

What's more, they don't really have a replacement for him. Fans are suggesting Gressel, but he's not a reliable back line defender by any means.

If this is strictly a salary dump, I guess you do what you gotta do but as far as reconfiguring the team, the return seems pretty paltry and the replacement mediocre.

Because of his Salary Miami had no leverage and FCC made a smart discount pick up.

Seems like Cinci tryna to take in the player pool of USMNT defenders.
