Um, that was fast - like less than a minute into the game fast

Vancouver 0-1 LAFC (Bogusz)

 

Of course I missed the goal. I didn't start watching until the third or fourth minute.

 

I went back and watched the goal and it was only then that I realized LA is not the dark uniform team.

 

I thought I saw a goal, but ref says no for a foul.

 

I miss the old days when you could turn on a game and pretty much know immediately which team was which.

 

Takaoka has kept Vancouver in this game. It could very easily be 3-0 now if it weren't for a couple very good saves.

 

That half did not live up to the opening minute.

 

Thankfully for the sake of the Whitecaps

 

Without Ryan Gauld Vancouver rarely threatens

I did not expect Ilie Sanchez to shoot.

Neither did the Whitecaps, evidently, because they gave him the free shot.

 

Whatever this was is actually over now. Meh.

 

Just noticed Biro only got a fine for his tackle against Puig last week.. sure were a ton of fines for mass confrontations on the field..

 

With that result the play-in game in the West will be between Portland and either Vancouver or Minnesota.

 

Decision Day isn't really going to be all that suspenseful this year. Yes, it could be in the East for the last 2 places. But in the West it's all about playoff match-ups.
