This is a far cry from last season's fan walkout/boycott. The Rapids are definitely back!

 

Reus and Puig were cooking in the LA Derby. Excellent work by Neal to neutralize Bouanga in the 2nd half.

 

This was the first game I really saw why people are so high on Neal. He stepped up a level in half two.

 

Having a game in hand helps, but LAFC are in serious danger of being pulled back into the peloton.

 

The center ref who issued the ridiculous red card to Darren Yapi in Colorado's match with Portland was Filip Dujic. He was also the "however" center ref in the St. Louis CITY - Atlanta match on June 22.

It didn't look like the ball crossed the line, but did the ball come off Rossero's wrist as it was heading toward the goal?

Even though that was an ungoal, SKC's efense was an isaster.

 

Wonder if Melia will body slam Cristian Roldan again today - been a while since he's shown us his wrestling moves

 

Roldan's a more savvy gentleman now. I think he'd headbutt Melia before the keeper had a chance to bodyslam him. Of course, he may need a stepstool to get into position for said headbutt.

 

If anyone is going to do a Glaswegian kiss (aka headbutt), I would think it would be Johnny Russell.
