With Copa America and Euro 24 kicking off this weekend and next week MLS will be off.....oh FFS..... MLS is playing through. Looking forward to a month of depleted rosters and some likely wacky results. Also, hopefully MLS teams will take this opportunity to give some young players opportunities and some extended playing time. Perhaps we will see the MLS debuts of David Vazquez and Cavan Sullivan?

New York City and the Champs get the week started off on Friday Night in the Bronx. Will the Pigeons good run of form continue? Saturday sees a full slate of games, most of which occuring during everyone's favorite time slot. Red Bulls look to continue their good run of form when Nashville comes to RBA. A depleted Union will welcome a depleted Miami to Subaru Park in a game of who's playing centerback. Orlando returns to the City Beautiful and will take on LAFC. RSL heads north of the border to face Montreal who are usually very tough at Stade Saputo. Will FC Dallas get a new coach bounce against St. Louis in Frisco? The Galaxy welcome Sporting KC to Carson in what has the potential to be an exciting end to end game. The week closes out with Settle taking on Minnesota at Lumen.

As usual all game times are eastern. National broadcasts & Free games are listed. All games can be viewed using MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Kickoff times can be found here.

MLS N&A play by play threads are neutral spaces. Keep all rivalry-esque banter out of these parts. Bullying. personal attacks and/or trolling will not be tolerated.

Looks like the Timbers are sitting this one out.

It will be interesting to see the "injury report" when it comes out to see who all is missing. Seattle will be missing Nouhou, while Minnesota could be missing quite a few players.

With MLS, USL, Euro24, and CopaAmerica going on simultaneously next week, anyone who loves soccer but complains about not being able to watch isn't really trying.

Ton of players out, and now Pukki is out for a few weeks. Maybe Bongi up top for this one.

Great display of 'how not to score' by the Crew!

The finishing seems a bit incomplete.

Columbus is doing an excellent job of keeping the ball out of the opponents net.

Freese came to play tonight. A couple big saves, and a couple great plays coming off his line.

Crew are dominating on style points, but Matt Freese is keeping the Pigeons in the game.

Just watching the lower body, I thought Ilenic had tried to hold back on the foul. But the upper body? DOGSO.

Ilenic took one of the slowest moseys of shame I've ever seen. I'm guessing that will draw a fine.

That's a great, fun goal from NYCFC.
