Well, let's see. Miami -- F*** Suarez, f*** Beckham and f*** Don Garber. Buying up all the talent -- bite me. Atlanta -- F*** Atlanta. Another big spending team despite recent struggles. And f*** their turf. Orlando -- No real hatred from me, no real affection either. Charlotte -- F*** their crappy turf too. Wait in line, bitches. NYCFC -- F*** their Man City money, and f*** Man City. NYRB -- Despite the fact that they just beat us, their fans have suffered long enough that I would actually feel good for them if they won something. Wouldn't hold my breath, though. LA Galaxy and LAFC -- F*** them, no explanation needed. Vancouver -- Aw, how cute. The little team that thinks it can. Seattle -- Eat a box of big fat c***s. Minnesota -- Probably the least objectionable of the bunch, and possibly the least interesting. At least Wil Trapp would win something. I guess if I had to pick someone, I'd pick Minnesota. Opposite conference, so there's no real hatred for them. But at this point, I think I'm just hoping for well-played matches.
I'd be okay with Cincy winning it but will not be going out of my way rooting for them. It would keep the cup in Ohio and no Miami... Hard to argue with an well put, asterisk filled post, though. On the Minnesota and well-played matches train, locomotive, bus, trolley car, or whatever...
Got in the car, flipped to SirusXM FC, heard the last two rounds of the PK's... Eastern Conference Semi-final, NYCFC v RBNY. Who would have thought...
It's always amusing to me for some reason when the PK shootouts go to extra rounds and the teams keep having matching misses. So instead of a Hell Is Real derby in round two, it's a Hudson River derby. Depending on how the next two matches go, there could wind up being a Florida derby as well.
Lucho leaving !?!?!?! “Today I played a game I may remember as my last one with the club,” Luciano Acosta just said in a shock revelation from the FC Cincinnati locker room.Highlights the struggles he’s faced away from the field and how he leaves now to rest and consider the future. #AllForCincy— Carter Chapley (@CarterChapley) November 9, 2024
Charlotte defender pulled a Camacho in the 99th minute to save Orlando. Though, the penalty was saved but scored on the rebound. Then Orlando wins in the PK shootout.
I don't think that rises to the level of red, but I'd have given yellows to Campana AND Suarez there.
