That's the first time under this format that the Game 1 winner didn't advance.

 

I was trying to bait the soccer gods...they didn't bite!

 

From his facial expression walking up, I thought he was probably going to miss.

 

These best of 3 play offs are pointless. Just have home and away, like CCC is, and use aggregate score where in case of a tie in aggregate the best positioned team moves on.

 

As a neutral, that was an exciting, heart-stopping PK shootout. If my team were on the losing end though, my emotions would range from sullen to apoplectic!

The nice thing about this format is I don't have to keep thinking about what the aggregate score currently is. So there's that.

 

At least Miami will score plenty of goals tonight, so no way will we have three 0-0 games today.

In 3 out of 6 so far the team that advanced did not outscore their opponent. Currently Charlotte 1-2 Orlando, with Charlotte possibly advancing.
