Hmm, on first glance that could be a penalty, but VAR doesn't think so.

edit: on second glance I agree with VAR.

 

Theoretically Charlotte can advance without actually winning a game or scoring a goal.

 

By my count in the last 380 minutes of MLS playoff soccer we have had 1 goal.

 

We've now gone over 240 MLS playoff minutes without a goal

That's over 4 hours without a goal.

 

And only 7-15 more games until they can move on to the next round!

 

The ball went into the back of the net!

I am rooting for the 40K+ fans to go home happy - and that was awfully close to being a big disappointment for them.

 

Even the idea of a goal is confusing to the officials here.

 

Charlotte caught a break with the offside. They gave way too much cushion to Orlando on that buildup.

 

I was hoping the defender close to the AR was onside.
