He always struck me as an MLS 1.0 player, just think the league moved by him and he got left behind.

He earned caps with the US and Cameroon in 2016. He was a solid player on a Vancouver team that made the playoffs in 2017. By the end of 2018 his career was over. He didn’t get left behind in just one year. And he was only 29.

Zawadazki , Moreira , Matan, Hinestroza, Sands, and maybe a few others.

 

I think it honestly depends on the opponent if a team attacks with a quick speedy player it’s hard for Arfsten to keep up. His positioning would certainly get better with more experience. Look he is a better athlete than Gressel and he is a attack minded player. I think you have to put a player in a position to succeed. Minnesota is missing some options so maybe he does play. I’ll trust whatever he does and if it’s Arfsten hopefully he learned something and plays much better. He practices against players better than Minnesota has.

 

I mean, if all of a sudden being a bum while still in your prime isn’t getting left behind, then I don’t know what it lol.

Seems to me that the third star is a jersey only application. The larger star is added on the shirt the year after you win the cup. Next year we will have 3 stars in an even line above the crest. I heard a discussion about how the TB Rowdies are the only USL team that uses the stars above their logo. Turns out the stars are part of their trademark. So are the 2 stars part of our mark and the third star is a one year addition? Or if the stars aren’t part of the mark than maybe they shouldn’t be on the shorts either.

With the Dynami games coming up: at Minny, then at Dynamo midweek, then the Fire, then home to Dynamo midweek, then NYRB before we get a full week off again.

I wonder if Nancy pre-rotates a bit in Minny. Matan & Moreira did not start the opener. Farsi is not on the injury report but certainly got dinged last week. If they are carrying slight knocks & we wanna rest Moreira a bit after AFCON, I could see all 3 not being in the XI in Minny.

And I'd assume CCC will field our best XI, so maybe a couple more guys get rotated.

I for one would certainly hope and expect to see Ramirez start once or twice during this stretch.

You just can't run Cuchos legs off in the first 30 days of the season and Rossi is being used mostly outside the box while JRR is apparently being used a bit withdrawn.

Matan is Matan but he's not suited for hand to hand combat in the box. Ramirez digs that shit.

So unless you intend to kill Cucho, who else you got?
