It's accounts and people like him that all their existence lies in trying to shit on domestic soccer more than actually help it grow. He is one of many that claims USOC is a better tournament but not once in years past did he ever mentioned, watched a game or reported about USOC until Garber said MLS wanted to leave it. He also doesn't watch MLS, USL or any US soccer domestic league or competition. There are many people like him. We have several like him in this thread alone.

Are people like him just afraid of US ever embracing soccer one day? I really don't understand their objectives.

Lol, they quote a journalist who “has a feeling Leagues Cup ratings are probably down.” WST is not a real news site, it’s a series of blogs ran by a guy who thinks he’s special because he prefers Euro soccer.

Why would they travel all the way to Mazatlán with three days off between games in the same city?

Its not even just because he prefers Euro Soccer. Didn't he work for an NASL team in Florida who was antagonistic towards MLS at the time?

You're thinking of Kartik. He worked directly for NASL 2.0 as their communications director.

Neither he nor Christopher Harris wrote this particular piece proclaiming that Americans only watch the Leagues Cup for Messi. They have a whole staff of writers promoting the company line that Americans only watch the EPL, plus the big name Euro clubs who come over for Summer of Soccer exhibitions. This week the site billboarded the EFL on Paramount as a game-changer. It's consistent messaging.

Liga MX has decided to move forward three league matches for eliminated clubs. Some would say this undermines the exclusive window of the Leagues Cup.

Glad Seattle scored, with all the shenanigans that Pumas has pulled already in this game.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a Mexican team wanting to get revenge for losing the CCL.

Im so tired of the media “validating” dirty play by calling it the “dark arts”. Call it for what it is. Its part of the reason the whole stupid region is a laughingstock on the global stage.. they play this “dark arts” crap to get to big tournaments like the World Cup then fail miserably because they dont really have the futbol to compete in places where the BS isnt tolerated

If you are watching in a device like a phone tap the screen and a volume button comes up at the top of the screen. It over rides the volume button if muted.
