So 4th, 6th, 9th, 12th, and 14th in the East and 3rd, 9th, and 11th in the West got knocked out. From Liga MX (using the Clasura as 4 games isn't much to go by) the 4th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 16th, and 18th sides got knocked out. Hard to take many conclusions away from that other than being a top 3 team is generally a good place to be (other than Salt Lake).

Using the Leagues Cup rankings Monterrey and Chivas were two of the top 5 and were eliminated, while the 7 worst teams all got through.

I just realized the game that is now on FS1 from FS2 does not feature a Liga MX team. LAFC is winning. Canada vs Mexico on unimas.

A Mexican team beating an MLS team in the Leagues Cup knockouts? Is that even allowed?

It was a Canadian team so it's allowed.

They need to draw all the teams straight into a knockout bracket. The group stage takes way too long and is essentially worthless.

I really don't know how anyone follows this sport without Fotmob. It has to be the best value for money ($0.00!) of any app out there.

Solves every "I thought that game was on another day, damn" problem you'll ever have.

5 goals, 2 pens given and one VARed off for the same team, a red card and it's not half-time yet.

Sean Johnson has been beaten by a lot of long range shots tonight. All good shots, mind you, but still.
