I get 403 Forbidden on that link. I'd have thought the Mexican players would have a similar deal. If some of the clubs aren't honoring their deals then there might be a healthy pipeline across the border. The top teams in Liga MX have a lot of high paid players but an average player at a smaller club would be much better off financially in MLS.
Well, the Fire have gone back from playing "not bad" to being bad. Balance has been restored to the football world.
Barring a surprise victory over Leon on Monday the almost 8 year streak of not advancing in a knockout competition against MLS or international competition will continue for Colorado.
If this is the mentality then players should only care about playing in their league. No friendlies or extra tournaments because they may get injured and affect their salaries. America shouldn't of been playing Chelsea in that friendly they had in Atlanta cause players could of ended up injured.

I'm a little baffled about the schedule and think it will be easy to fix next year. Why there are no games tonight and seven on Sunday is a little confusing. With 16 groups and no teams excluded from the first round, it should create room for better synergy.
What do you mean there are no games tonight? Tigres leading Miami 1-0. The fricking drop down menus on Kiwi and Chrome browsers aren't working on multiple phones dammit.
Tata Martino apparently says we're already through so why bother? Seems like there may be a problem with the format. Also seems like the players on the pitch are really trying.
I guess it reduces the games but groups of 3 is always weird. You can't even say there's a team you want to avoid in the other group most of the time so does seeding really matter either.
