OK, I wasn't losing my mind when I saw the game started at the top of the hour, to tune into 'waiting for start' to see the time was at the bottom of the hour... It was a real thing. Whew!

 

Hoping to avoid further lightning delays? It's probably going to be an orange ball game.

 

2:10? 2:30? I got nothing on Apple TV here at home.

Out here at Stansbury it’s been sleeting, raining and lightning for the last 45 minutes or so. Moving toward Salt Lake County. A bolt just hit nearby…

 

Radar seems to indicate a couple of small thunderstorms southeast of Sandy. Hope they aren’t.

 

Glad I did not make trip from Southern Utah for this one.

 

Pained me to sell my home opener tickets. Feeling a bit better about it now.

Lightning delay...

 

Well that was a fun 3 minutes.

 

Well, that's not a surprise, I guess. All the forecasts I've been reading mentioned the possibility of lightning. Even in the backcountry.

 

Glad I got a couple extra hours of sleep, but knowing the weather, I won't be surprised if it ends up being rescheduled

 

3:05 kickoff is the current plan.
