Rodman likes to run at players and chase balls. She hasn't done that in stoppage. That assist was a play she normally likes to take more touches. She is not full speed out there. For multiple reasons, she will not see the second half.

It's like Colombia got the word that playing the US physically can knock them off their game, but didn't quite understand what that meant, and have taken it to this level that only fires the USWNT up more. (although I think the USWNT came in a lot more fired up for this game already, and Colombia likes to do this kind of shithousery as long as the referee allows it, which she is) I just hope no one ends up injured.
I'm just glad I do not have any large emotional stake in this match. I tend to get upset, my old age does not help, when I perceive unfairness or injustice and I have seen both in this match and the referee has done NOTHING that makes me think this will not, some time in the 2nd half, degenerate into a gang dog fight. I thought there was/is some decent evaluation process but this ref is either having a really bad match or she is unfit for this level of soccer. It is NOT the fouls but it is the fact that she is letting both teams get away with incessant arguing and yelling and failing to follow even the most basic parts of the law. I wonder; Can someone give the referee a red card and let the backup take over?
I mean it’s obvious Morgan won’t be a starter with Swanson and Macario back in 100% fit; what I don’t get is why she seemed to be the only one completely written off post WWC. If anyone watching this tournament says Morgan should be one of the first ones off the team, I hope they are aware they’d be saying it because of age and not because of merit.
