ViX is streaming. $4.99/month. The game will be available on demand after it ends. I don't know how long it takes for ViX to make it available (minutes or hours?). It will disappear after a few days.

The Fox Sports app has FSP games live and on demand. Fox has gotten really good at checking if you have access through your TV or streaming provider. I can't get FSP with my Sling credential.

Curious, has Cuba ever qualified for the U20 WC before? I can't recall it. Pretty damn cool for them, and not bad keeping it tight against Mexico after the early goals. Common opponents: Mexico over Cuba 2-0, usa over Cuba 4-0, Mexico tied Panama on a 90th minute goal, we beat Panama 2-1. Otoh, we haven't looked particularly great after a solid start. Has the feeling of those U17 finals w/Mexico we've always found a way to lose over the past decade.

Cuba qualified for the 2013 U20 World Cup the last time the U20 CONCACAF was played in Mexico.

Also Mexico played with the alternate lineup against Cuba and Panama although Panama also did the same (don't know about Cuba).

And we've rarely had good youth teams. The 87 and 97 U20 teams were pretty good. The 01 team should have been better and the 03 team did well at the tournament, but was better than the sum of their parts. Generally we don't have the depth to really compete at youth tournaments (our U17 tournament record speaks for itself) but we've done a decent job of developing some good talents. Now we need to get more of those players who grew up in Canada representing Canada and that would go a long way to help our depth.

deejay: With 48 teams qualifying for the World Cup, Canada should qualify regularly, but there are plenty of countries who should qualify easily on paper and who have the odd hiccup.

There are absolutely opportunities for growth. The Canadian MLS teams do a miserable job of giving opportunities to their own academy graduates/young players. Year after year top youth players are not part of the Canadian youth programs. It's one thing to invest more money to have more camps for the youth teams, but if you're picking the wrong players in the first place that is only going to help so much.
