CONCACAF crapshoot with the pitch and officials potentially being great equalizers. Was it against Saprissa where Mbaizo had his tooth knocked out and it wasn't even deemed to have been a foul?
That against Club America at the Azteca. Saprissa was where Wagner got assaulted late o in the first round of the same competition. The first leg will be tough, Saprissa's home field advantage is not to be underestimated.
Their stadium was empty due to covid last time we played there. Going to be a different experience this time.

Acceptable result for first game of the season, away, bad weather and CONCACAF refs. Bring it home and put it to bed. Do you not start Martinez since he already has a yellow or just let him play to get it out of the way and sub him as soon as it happens (28th minute is my over/order line). Accumulation may be a issue for him going forward.
It was a stupid yellow card. I wish he'd stop that crap. He's going to get enough cards simply because of his position and style of play. Curtin should fine him for picking up yellow cards for dissent, especially when he is not involved in the play. Overall though, a good win in tough conditions. Carranza starting off the season in goal scoring form was great to see.
