Is this DMF exploit a recognized thing in Japan? I mean: there are tons of good japanese players in that position, just like the Side-MF spots in the 2010s.

Like who? I can't think of anyone, and certainly not close to Sano.

Yeah I like him. Didn't make it in Belgium but I think it's just because it was too soon.
Not at the same level of Sano though.

Anyway, it seems he got arrested in Japan lmao. Clearly his brain works only in football.

After sources he and two friends of him sexual assault a women in a hotel and then got arrested

Hmm I would say his move to Mainz is dead and also his start in Europe with this news. No matter if its true or not. Mainz will cancel the contract and his career is over before its begun I predict.

What a stupid idiot move from Sano. Should concentrate on football in his holiday not in women.

Very nice to hear. First the big injury of Kawamura and now that. Whats wrong :(?

No, but at this time he was already 2 years at the club and from the beginning the sources said that the Ito thing was bullshit cause in the first days the lawyer from the girl quit his work + the timeline before such an important game was also ridiculous.

Maybe Sano has this luck also but I doubt that Mainz will take those social risk compared with the pressure for a new player.

I hope this is a missunderstood and all will get fine at the end but I hardly doubt Sano will see the pitch in Germany. Hope I am wrong.

But nontheless, true or not, Sano is a Idiot to not focus on football in this 2 weeks in holiday.

Edit: German media said Sano is not expected to be part of the first training for Mainz at 21th cause of the trouble.

Kashima Antlers said they are very worried about Sano today cause first informations are talking about rape now. More than sexual assault.

Almost every german media are reporting it today and the first fans are starting to be worried. The image damage is big I think. The bad stuff is, that Mainz has Problems with another player (El Ghazi) also and the nervs of the fans are a little stressed I would say.

We have to wait till official informations are there but it looks very worse. On the Twitter (X)account from Mainz it seems, thats this is really big in Japan and also some sources from Germany are already talking about that the contract will probably cancelled.

Is that really easy to get in contact with a girl in Japan? What he was doing in a hotel?

Unfortunately yes, it looks more serious than the Ito case which after has quickly almost gone dismissed (so far).

I hope so but the image damage is done. I also have serious doubts he will join Mainz.
Sporting wise it's a shame because he was excellent. I'm 100% he would have become a JNT starter.

That said let's be honest, he could have avoided to put himself in this situation in all cases...

If guilty. What a stupid thing to do.
And in this moment of his career. Signing with Mainz and the world at his feet.

    Unreal

Looks like Sano told the Police he did it after sources (Asahi TV and some german media) and his other friend also. Only the third one rejected to talk and thats the reason it took so long.

After sources he will get in jail for around 6 years. What a crazy story, what an idiot.

He is done, his career is over for sure.

But unless he is a psycho.

Yeah hard to believe. But for outstanding people like us, we will maybe never know the real circumstages. So its hard to judge him even if he is guilty, like it seems.

Sano and his friend Yasumi Yamamoto also tell suprisingly that there was never a doubt, that they are guilty and do this to the 30 year old women since they get arrested. Also they were directly very open and cooperative to the police when they find Sano and his friends near the hotel.

That is a crazy honest expression. Looks like it was planed and maybe there was never a real intention in become a player of Mainz 05.

Planed seems a bit of a stretch haha. Not so sure japanese prisons are that fun. It's not like he got Mainz's money or anything...
