Looks like Kubo is on his way to Liverpool, fee is around 54-60 Mio € and after sources, the negotiations are in the endstage. He should be the replacement of Salah.

Kubo also was not part of Sebastian in the last game which also seems that he is already there.

Arne Slot is a big fan of Kubo it seems. Would be a great move.

Yeah, I saw that also but I don't know what to think about it.
La Real Sociedad is playing in Japan this week, again. The fact that Kubo wasn't part of the team might be that they gave him a few days off in Japan before the game.

Even though it was real, I highly doubt they would release him before that game in Osaka, (his presence on the pitch is the only reason for that game) to be honest. Yasuda's contract is still going for two years. I'd say they would first find a replacement for Kubo to broadcast the club's games in Japan before releasing him.

    Let's see

Uhm...I dunno. I thought his play style suit La Liga better, but let's see.

When they paid around 60 Mio € they want him badly. And when Mitoma could get good results in the PL, Kubo could also. I would say, its a good move.

Edit: Looks like it will be around 65 Mio €. And that the deal is almost done.

i think Mitoma would be a better option for Pool. Anyway imo Kubo has reach his top in La Liga. Better to change place and league to try something new.

Dont think that he has reached his top in La Liga with 23 ^^.

Sure its possible thats his maximum but I think he can become way better. Especially in terms of constancy. Thats also what the experts of Liverpool said about Kubo, that he was way more potenzial and that they want him as a long term replacement for Salah. And to be fair Liverpool is a club which normaly gave players the time to addapt and develop.

Edit: After sources, Kubo is already learning intensive english and very happy about "his move to Liverpool".

Salary by the way is around 15 Mio.€.

Sounds like its really close or he is already there. So lets see and wait. I am so overhyped ^^. Kubo and Endo in the same club.

Seems like more and more Japanese players are playing in EPL, on the other hand if the move goes through that means there are no Japanese Players in La Liga next season.

Seems like this move has taken a sudden halt, I really hope this happens, would love to see him at Liverpool, but it's up in the air at the moment.

Yeah it seems or it was never that close?
Other sources are telling that Kubos Agent is at Liverpool to clear last details, while Takefusa is in the Japan Tour for Sociedad.

    But lets see.

As I thought, rumours have been dismissed by multiple persons, Fabrizio Romano included.

Liverpool is a great club but it would be a waste to see Kubo leave Spain. He definitely consider himself partly Spanish now, I’m just in love with how he manages the language.

Madrid (or Barcelona) should be his only goal.

But even when those people dismissed, it means nothing, cause other sources told its still true. So we know nothing ^^.

Even Kubo said himself some days ago he would love to play for Liverpool and that he still learns english at the moment. Looks like a hint but who knows.

Maybe Liverpool and Sociedad are taking it silent and serious a little like Bayern and Stuttgart and in some days we know more but yeah its possible that this was only a good rumour.

It seems Liverpool are looking at Pedro Neto instead, weird turn of events, the Kubo move looked certain at one point.

Yeah I also think, that the deal will not happen but lets see.

Endo also said, he would love to see Endo at Liverpool and that he would be a perfect fit.

Yeah, dont be a fan of those swiitches every game. Hard to get into constancy for player and team. But he have to earn his spot back.

Was Kubo enraged for some reason?

You can tell the dude had spent a lot of years in Spain cuz he had and has this type of "Mediterranean beahaviour" very strange for a japanese.

Probably upset because he keeps getting benched. If Liverpool do end up going in for him I think he'd leave.
