A reminder, the Rapids paid Cinci $400K in GAM last seasn and $400K in GAM this season to get Vallecilla. They are literally paying Cinci $225K in GAM this year so he can play for Columbus. Oh, and they also paid off his remaining transfer fee with SD Aucas.
I always thought the first couple of years he was with the Rapids that you fleeced Columbus in the Aboubakar deal (not so much last year and not so far this year). So maybe the Vallecilla deal is closing that loop.

Overmatched at MLS level. Tries to rely on his size more than he can get away with which leads to dumb fouls.

DC United are looking to bring in Lewis O'Brien from Nottingham Forest on loan after his loan move to Blackburn fell through. May just be a short term loan until the summer.
"fell though" - The FA demanded extra paperwork at almost literally the last minute, causing the deal to not be completed until minutes after the deadline. Then they denied the appeal over it. Sounds like their may be an adjustment to the transfer rules after the season because of this (deals that are at the "filing paperwork stage" at the deadline get an extra X hours to dot i's and cross t's)
