The CUP Final. Finally. Yay. It's on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, Telemundo, Universo, Peacock, and maybe 1,000 other outlets. Would love to see Artur get some more trophy. I totally won't be watching with tears in my eyes.
No messi. He's scared of The Cup. Steve Clark is going out there, and he's lost two finals. Check that, they are sending out crew legend and Kevin Stefanski impersonator Andrew Tarbell.
I've never seen a team's performance drop so much sans one player...and I saw the LeBron 1.0 Cavaliers.
Wow, Houston hangs on for dear life to win the CUP 2-1. The Dynamo midfield looked completely gassed the last 25 minutes, but they did just enough to lift the best, most important trophy in the world. Super stoked for Crew Legend Artur. Hope we take the CUP seriously next year.
Busquets had a good game. Not too many other guys showed a lot. I thought Carrasquilla was terrific for Houston. And leaving Clark on the bench for a cup final was shrewd.
I hope we play against these guys in THE CUP next year. Kwame Appiah from season four of Love is Blind won in the qualifying rounds of the @opencup with a club called Sharktopus FC. The magic of the cup is peaking early. pic.twitter.com/jRYM1nx62Q— ben goshorn (@TheSoccerGoose) October 2, 2023
Technically not the 2023 Cup, but this is wild: https://hudsonriverblue.com/us-open-cup-qualifier-abandoned-after-player-threatens-to-stab-ref/
