Koki Ogawa and Iván Márquez will not be there against RKC. The two trained separately from the group on Thursday. Meijer knows when they will rejoin the selection. "After the Easter weekend they will be back with the group." In the following weekend, NEC plays away against sc Heerenveen.

Seems like coming back from injury.

Ogawa is clinical but was injured long the last weeks but yeah Shiogai looks like a promising talent. Good form.

 

During an aerial duel for the ball, Proper and Ogawa collided ugly, after which they both seemed to have lost consciousness for a moment. Referee Danny Makkelie immediately called the medical people onto the field. After a few minutes of treatment, Proper left the field on a stretcher. Ogawa was able to stay put. NEC announces that Proper is conscious.

 

Hope they are both well. Ogawa was jnjured for weeks and now that again ? Unreal.
